I picked up a '71 G3 which I'm excited about restoring. I took off a board on the dash and removed the gauges. The fiberglass dash looks like swiss cheese hence the wood covering it all up. The windshield is obviously an aftermarket and broken anyway.

Terry: Welcome to the website Sir! It looks like you have a good Glasspar to get started with! Please post pictures of your project as you progress. We all like to see these great old boats come back to life! Here is a photo for you of our "one-family owned" 1960 Glasspar G-3 which my Dad ordered new way back in 1959: Attachment Deleted

I'm hoping to find the "Glasspar" logo and a windshield.

Thanks John!!! Great picture!! I'm hoping mine with look half that good. Inspiration!! Thanks!!!! Terry: Thanks for your kind words Sir! As I tell all my fellow Glasspar friends I have to give my Dad all the credit for how our G-3 looks as he never let me or any of my Brothers leave that boat in the water or out in the rain. And, it was garage kept it's entire life Terry. That makes a huge difference in how our old Glasspar G-3 Skiboats look.

No doubt about keeping it out of the sun and weather when not on the water. Especially red. LOL
