After 27 months of a complete restoration, my 1960 G3 hit the water today. Thank you to Dean and Mr Frankin Merc and the G3 community for their encouragement, tips and help along the way. The boat performed beyond expectations right out of the box. We had her up to 44 MPH at 4500 RPM and my wife said "enough!" Further testing will be required but I believe that she will easily be in the over 50 club.
Thanks all
Steve Brandon VT

Very nice looking G-3 Steve! You were in good hands with Dean and Dr. Frankenmerc.

Congratulations Steve! It sure is beautiful... Great job! The Merc looks awesome on the back too. I love the engine decals too... Are they the 1967 model decals? It looks really cool. The upholstery looks great too. Did you have any issue with romping? I didn't notice if you had tilt & trim on the motor? So at 46 mph, what RPM were you running? Now we want to see some action shots! Dean BTW... I'm not sure I deserve any credits... I just donated an extra prop (the same exact model Bandit found its top speed with)
