Stopped into a place known for its fresh Dungenness crab sandwiches, and sat out on their dock to enjoy it. All of a sudden, off in the distance, I spot the unmistakable lines of our favorite boat, in a storage yard across the canal!!! After lunch, took a ride over there and could not believe my eyes!!!! This guy has G3s stacked in racks all over his boatyard!!! Think I counted 6 or 7 of them, in various stages of disrepair, but he told me that only 3 of them were for sale!! HA! Gotta love a fellow G3...... HOARDER!!! Being a MERC guy, he said the one with the JOHNSON was for sale, and to me it looked about the best of the bunch! He can KEEP his dumb merc DOCK SMASHERS!! Anyway guys, he was kind enough to let me snap a few pics, because I thought I might be DREAMING!!! HA!

Sounds like he would be a good man to keep in touch with get him to post and join in. funny thing is, just happened to select my custom Dean G3 shirt (see avatar) to wear yesterday, and when I introduced myself to the hoarder guy he instantly pointed to my SHIRT! HA! I DID ask him if he was a member of our group, but he seemed not interested in joining any internet activitys. So, I asked him permission to post those pics on the G3 board and he agreed! go figure.... NUT |
