Hello everyone! Well, I purchased my first G3 several years ago, and removed the rotted floor to find some very beautiful fiberglass stringers! Only a person who has replaced rotted wood stringers can identify with my description of "beautiful fiberglass stringers!" Next, I replaced the 3/8" exterior plywood floor with 1/2" marine plywood. I coated the down side of the floor with fiberglass resin and covered the top side with two or three (can't remember which anymore...) applications of fiberglass cloth and resin.
I restrung the cable-pulley steering and rewired the lights. Right about that time, a 1960 G3 in almost showroom condition showed up on Craigslist and ended up in my driveway. Then another curious thing happened, a Glasspar Marathon ended up in my driveway, followed by a Glastron V-143 with center console! When you add these to my 1963 Tacoma, well, it gets a little crowded!
I finally have acknowledged that my enthusiasm and energy to complete the '67 G3 is not as strong as it needs to be to get her finished. So, the trailer (which does not have tail lights) and the boat are available to any G3 member who wants to come get her for free- as in zero dollars. This G3 is located in Vacaville, Ca., midway between San Francisco and Sacramento on Interstate 80.
This boat is an excellent restoration project and has "good bones." 707-301-6233

WOW!!! what a deal!!! I wish I could take them all- this 67 would make a fine addition to my fleet, but sadly must pass it up. If you would like, I could post this on the Golden State Glassics and/or Glasspar Boats Facebook page, so we can find it a loving new home......let me know, Walt! P.S. is the trailer included in the "price"?
