Looks good Dale! What color are you planning to paint it?

Most of my family are alumni of West Virginia University and my granddaughter is there now. We all are football nuts even through they're not doing so well this year. Blue and gold is the state colors so I guess it's blue with gold accent on the side and call it the Mountaineer.

Just out of the paint both. Now about two or three weeks of wet sanding and then the resembling. One step at a time.

Looking good Dale! Is that a metal flake in the blue?
I still remember the wet sanding step (uhg!)... big job with all the different angles, but after the buffing it will look really good.
So are you going to do the trim color in the stock format, or did you have something else in mind?

No Dean it's not metal flaked in the blue but the gold that I will put on the side will have a heavy metal flake in it. I am going to stay true to the g3 paint style just adding metal flake on the side. I also will be adding a hard cover over the back cargo space and attaching it to the splash well covering it with upholstery that will match the seat. Hope to have it done by May with any look.

One step closer. Had a lot of trouble with the paint it was a pain in the a.. Do to my lack of experience more than anything else. Marine paint is a deferent animal than clear coat base coat. Looks good for now but don't know how it will hold up. Getting ready to put back together hull is done. Wish me luck. Thanks for all your advice with the project club members. Can't wait to hit the water this spring. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Hey Dale, It's looking sharp... I see that you've got the new rub rails installed too!
Really cool wheel. Is that new or something out of the past?
Your yellow stripes look a little bumpy tho. Heh.
