Not yet waiting on lic. and title to come got to get the State there money ya know. Hey by the way how doses those trim tabs work for you I was thinking about some for my G. Are they any help? Yes, they work GREAT! I have run Boat leveler electro-hydraulic trim tabs on my overpowered 14' flatbottom for years, and without them this boat would be almost undriveable! They offer the ability to pull a skier quickly in the full DOWN position (which is only a mere 1/4" below the bottom of the boat), or let the hull FLY in the full UP position for those top end runs!!! ANOTHER benefit that adds to general boating enjoyment, is the ability to adjust them independently while underway with a touch of a button, to compensate for the constantly changing variables of our small boats, like people sitting position, weight, amount of beer in the ice chest, propeller torque, etc. Once you get your G3 on the water, you will find that even small amounts of weight distribution changes can greatly affect the ride attitude, and the trim tabs allow you to compensate and adjust the boat to run flat. Not sure if you have modified the bottom of your boat, but most that are stock, like mine, also have a tendency to porpoise due to the rocker in the bottom. The trim tabs also fix this issue! The ones on my G3 are Lenco electric units btw. If you do end up getting them, just remember to mount them with only a small amount of "full DOWN" because you want them up and out of the way for ultimate top end speed!!!! so you don't get them pesky EVINRUDES stuck in your carbs? HA! NUT

Nut sounds like you are on to something with those trim tabs I think I will first get my G in the water and see how she handles and if it's not what I want I just might try your idea and get some tabs. Looking at your boat and set up it sure looks great even that evinrede looks good on the back of it, was you resting while waiting on a tow? Good thing your cooler was full some times those towboats can take a long time getting to you. Take care and thanks for the info on the tabs.

Should be soon still working the bugs out in the driveway. ahhhh! Kinda what I figured.....dem pesky MURK bugs will keep ya landlocked everytime! But look at the bright side- at least THIS one time, ya didn't have to be towed back to the dock! welcome to the wonderful world of ......MERCURY! Their owners are a very special breed, and LOVE to constantly tinker and work on their motor, instead of actually.... BOATING, but to each his own, I suppose. Summer is just about over now, so maybe time to give the good Dr. FRANKENMERC a call? Dean has his number on his emergency quick dial! Suggest ya pack several coolers of Coronas on ice while you wait for it to come out of the Dr.'s ICU ward....prolly gonna take awhile. And while you wait, and pray for a miracle, heres a nice video to watch for your viewing pleasure! you are welcome! NUT gee...that looks alot like that photoshopped picture of my boat you pointed out above! you are right! AMAZING photoshopping skills, whoever did it! Maybe we could track him or her down to make a movie of YOUR boat actually moving? HA!

NICE movie lots of good shots of your boat getting great air I will be in the water before the season is out I will assure you. By the way your not the frist person to put a fake white shell over a Merc just to make it look like Merc from a distance nice try. A real Merc coming soon to your local theaters keep a watch out. Take care see you on the water.
